2 puck Restricted zone scrimmage



This drill involves two players per zone all on the same team. These players however cannot skate out of their zone. They can pass. Two pucks are introduced by the coach. The pucks can be spotted anywhere. Object is to score against opposition twice. This drill creates positional and zone awareness as well as stressing heads up passing, communication and concentration.

Cues
Can't leave zone. Work together as a team. Quality passes. Players can shoot from any zone agianst opposition. Communicate to teamates.

Variation: Three vs three in each zone.

Note
Other players are on benches until both pucks are in net. Then repalce players.
